I got the red ring of death fixed it but the next day I couldnt. We sent it to microsoft and they say we will get it back 2-3 weeks but there is a microsoft center in texas and thats I live. Is it possable it will come back sooner because of that?
No idea, it depends where it is shipped to to be reconditioned and fixed. It is possible to get it back sooner, i remember mine only took about 5 or 6 days. Hopefully it get to you soon. I think they say 2-3 weeks as a cushion of time, in case of a over load of red ringed Xboxes
Actually the red ring of death is nothing but saying your system uh... "needs a break" The red ring of death has happend to me before but all i had to do was unplug the power plug-in blow in it, and the place where you plug it into, BOOM no more red ring of death and i saved 100s of dollers
i didnt think that xbox's got the red ring of death anymore i got mine 2 years ago and had no problems since. If theve said that they will send it you back in 2-3weeks thats what they will probably do. hopefully it gets back sooner for you though =p
Im just waitng my Xbox360 days out, I think I may do a MAJOR overhaul to my computer so I dont have to waste 20$ For Live......But I may wait for Fable III to comeout >

Well i dont know about sooner they got lots of people to deal with becasue they messed up big on the xbox 360 system even tho i still love it ive had red ring i didnt send it becasue warranty ran out luckily my dad jsut bought me a new one
