awsome game diablo 2 i play online and i have an 83 expansion pally nl now kicks ass a 78 expansion sorc also nl now, a lvl 81 barb expansion ladder that has 4k hp awsome weapons and armor.... and i started a new necro today summoner eat it ok this game is as good as wow and as fun too
Still remember diablo 1, diablo 1 expansion, diablo 2 and its expansion. All of those games were great and hopefully diablo 3 will get some people off of WoW.
Get Diablo 2... its even MORE awsome. I would actually suggest you buy it, and trust me, I dont say that about many games.
I wanted to buy the battle chest because it had Diablo, Diablo 2, the expansions, and some guide book. But then they took out Diablo, I wanted to actually have a legit copy of Diablo.

Cant wait for D3, but meanwhile I think I will trawl the internetz for D2 so I can play online.
DII was undeniably awesome, moreso than DI, so I was quite anticipatory for DIII. All that anticipation died, however, when I saw that they were making a character class that could manipulate time. The mechanics of that are so difficult to code well that I just despair now of the game ever making it out of development.
the manipulating time thing, as far as been released, is one spell that reduces the movement speed of enemy projectiles in an area, thus allowing you to dodge them.
