A rock.

It orbited around the sun, uninhabited. Suddenly, asteroids from somewhere impact the planet.

You are what was on one of those asteroids. You control what happens, just don't godmod, or anything. I'll let you know when you do something too powerful/game changing/fun killing. You can also change the weather, and if you develop, you can make civilizations and change the environment. Update your active species with something like this with each post, and say what happened.

I'll start.

A meteorite with moss on it hits the planet. The moss spreads.

-Moss
Population: Just a few square inches.

Planet: Hot, humid (You can update this too, just not to major.)

Start with plants/environmental changes. Make it moderately logical.

lol. Since you posted I'll update again.

The moss spreads to a few feet, thriving in the climate (if you can call it that.)

Population: Several square feet

Alright I guess it's my fault for not explaining the game right. We're terraforming and bringing life to a barren planet. I made a meteor crash that spread moss. You can terraform the planets to make mountains, valleys, etc. Right now, moss is growing in a crater and thriving, making it spread.

Moss is thriving and quickly spreads.
-Moss
Status: Thriving
Population: Around a dozen square yards

And try to make things at least a bit logical. Also, you can change the climate.

a second meteor hits in a nearby crater, leaving a moss-killing superbacteria D:!

Moss, still thriving spreads more.

-Moss
Status: Thriving, population controlled by bacteria
Population: A dozen square yards

A huge string of meteors pound the opposite side of the planet, leaving very large, connected craters.

Vapor from the meteorite expands in the atmosphere and forms liquid (H2O).

A tiny parasite forms in the liquid
- Lets call them COH
Status: Growing but stagent due to the amout of h20

The COH thrives in the liquid. The COH reacts to the small environment by destroying each other, this produces more H2O.

The COH develops and kills itself and eventually filling a crater hole full of H2O, spilling the H2O over and creating another colony of COH this parasite develops differntly because it is in contact with grass making the colony eat plants rather then themselves.

Wait, where did the grass come from?

How about the COH parasite reacts to the moss on the (North?) side of the planet.

Yeah the creator didnt specify on the planet so ok.

The second colony of COH use the moss as there main source of food, slowly the COH are growing faster then the moss can reproduce, COH is developing at a 200% rate.

The first colony of COH develping at a 500% rate filling the area with quite alot of water. 200 gallons every 5 hours.

The planet then orbits behind a larger planet, hiding it from the sun.

Snap Freeze.

The COH is paralyzed in the liquid.

I'm working on a map. The moss is on the NW and the large craters with the water aren't too far away.

-Moss
Status: Dying (Bacteria and cold)

The cold combined with the water forms the first precipitation. Snow falls on most of the planet.

The planet begins to slowly freeze most of the COH die from this but there are a few that have evoled to withstand the cold.
