The 4-meter-long drone aircraft can carry up to four cruise missiles and will have a range of 620 miles (1,000 kilometers), according to a state TV report â" not far enough to reach archenemy Israel.
"The jet, as well as being an ambassador of death for the enemies of humanity, has a main message of peace and friendship," said Ahmadinejad at the inauguration ceremony, which fell on the country's national day for its defense industries.
The goal of the aircraft, named Karrar or striker, is to "keep the enemy paralyzed in its bases," he said, adding that the aircraft is for deterrence and defensive purposes.
And this is just days after Iran begins fueling its first Nuclear Reactor. What do you think the significance of this is? Is it only a matter of time before it can reach Israel, and then the world?
Or is really just a deterrent? Simply a 'I have the bigger stick' kinda thing?
Jordan would almost certainly not attack us because of the peace treaty singed in 1994 , and Lebanon is unstable enough so that it will not risk war against Israel. What I would worry about is Syria and Saudi Arabia, thought I believe neither of them are trigger-happy.
Thank you Tomer, this is the first post that makes sense, so far! IF, Syria and Saudi Arabia go to war against Israel, again, it will be swift and severe and make Bush's 'shock and awe' look like 'aw shucks'. Jordan has maintained as friendly a position with the US as they comfortably hold while still maintaining their Arabic image. I don't think any nation is 'buddy-buddy' with Iran anymore but I would prefer to study current world political news before carving this statement in stone.

Who will win? I can't see either of them crushing Israel. We have fended off a joint Arab force 3 times already, and they had Egypt and Jordan with them. Any bomb coming from Iran will most likely be destroyed in the Syrian airspace, and a missile base in Saudi Arabia and Syria close to Israels borders will be bombed, as it had been done a few times already. I don't think Saudi Arabia can deploy any kind of ground forces on Israeli territory except from Eilat and through its allies countries.
P.S. Don't tell me about the US or the UN helping Israel. So far, at times of war, they have only made matters worse for us.
