Their war has been going on for longer than any of us can remember, unless you were born when FF VII came out... but that's beside the point. We're here to take this conflict to AG. And hopefully resolve it. Even if it takes us until the bitter end. Myself, I'm a big fan of both Cloud and Sephiroth, although I'm leaning more towards the latter. So, without further a due, let's get it on!
I like Cloud a lot better, but Sephiroth has wings!!! (on his legs...weird but cool) but past that, Cloud wins hands down.
Not originally; not in the times of FF7, which I think is the game we should place our debate on since all started there. Personally, I prefer Cloud by far but I guess it's only due to FF7's storyline. To me Sephiroth is like a caricature of what's cool among hardcore manga freaks; exceedingly long white hair, no protection at all, superhuman strenght, somewhat crazy and wielding a 9 foot tall sword. Sadly; I think sephiroth would win because Cloud is admittedly only a clone. Sephiroth is born from the womb of an ancient whereas CLoud is but an experiment to recreate sephiroth so even though it saddens me, sephiroth would win.
Until of course he goes totally mad while Cloud can stay cool and not fall into a wheelchair...again...
Dude... mad spoilers.... anyway i do believe it would be a never ending fight.. if it did ever end sephiroth would prolly win cause he's the kinda guy to jump behind ya while your down and stab ya through the back...
If you guys have watched the FFVII movie, Advent Children, you'd see, after their 10 minute battle, that Cloud appears to have won, but then Sephiroth says that he'll "Never be a memory" and disappears. That leaves a lot of mystery, although in the actual game, you do kill him, of course I haven't beaten the game yet so I'm not sure of the details, but of course, why wouldn't you have the video game hero beat the main villain in the end? I just think that because Sephiroth is in fact, a creation made through an ancient based purely on fighting, that he would have the advantage.
