I think that after so long, old threads should be deleted.
I mean if you have locked ones piling up from over two or more years ago, you could probably just get rid of them and free up some space on the AG servers.

I don't think this will be put into consideration because AG isn't very concerned about those thread at the moment.

I think this was suggested before and it was turned down. I don't know though...

I love it when people care about AG server space...
We still have a lot of it. Otherwise admins would be taking security measures to clear more space up.

If old threads get deleted, then people lose AP (Especially Carlie). They also don't bother us unless they get necroed by newbies, in which case a mod locks them.

Threads are pretty small in size compared to Flash games. I'd say the Sonny 2 game is heavier in file size than the whole Community. I'd have to prove that, but...

Suggested in many different ways/similar ideas. All shot down.

It really was suggested but turned down for the reason ulimitedpower said.

Just reaffirming that what Secretmapper said is correct. (Waste of a comment?)

Server space? Ha! Seriously, these are online forums. Deleting threads solely because they are "old" would be entirely against the point of having internet forums.

@ulimitedpower

I believe one million posts is more than 30 mb.

What about deleting them, but not redusing AP? (Rhetorical question. As pointed out, it isn't needed)

I don't think you could do that anyways, as posts are directly linked to AP. I don't know really, since I didn't program this site nor do I have much knowledge of how it was programmed.

As knight just said, all the old topics are still linked to AP, so deleting the old ones would result in a mass loss of AP site wide.

It really is easy enough to just let the get pushed back, lock them and let the rest in peace.

you should delete all the locked threads but keep all the last commented ones because i have gone to the last page and commented on some pretty interesting topics
