Okay let me work my theory out so you can all destroy it by pointing out all the flaws. I do enjoy constructive criticism. Say we did away with the division of church and state, and made the government in charge of Religion. Say we make everybody follow the Catholic religion. Well there are going to be some pros here. And we also kill everybody who disagrees. Besides the whole thing being immoral what do you think?
Also you could list the pros and cons of what would happen if we inserted other religions as the center of our government.
If we had a state religion I would leave America.Our founding fathers seperated the church from the state so we wouldn't have a problem where one religion told us all what to.We were given a choice to believe in whatever Christian religion we wanted unlike lots of youropean nations at the time.

I would say christianity would be the best religion for the world since it's the only one that would get you to heaven.
That's your point of view, but what if it wasn't? What if another religion was actually right? What if none was? I think this shouldn't affect this thread, this is only concerning life on earth and way of living under a certain religion.
@holt that's not true. Let's look at it this way. If you were a muslim you would say that being muslim would be the best because then you would have a happy afterlife. Other than that being irrelevent, it is also biased.
If I was forced to go with one religion i would go with Wicca given it's core moral guideline is "do as you will and harm non". So, so long as I don't hurt anyone I can do what I please. It also encourages you to think before you take action.
