Forums → The Tavern → Are children becoming funny from being exposed to TV and videogames?

Many new games and TV shows are ruining the serious nature of children.
I think everything funny should be banned, remember it's for the children. Books are 100% cool though because they contain words. This one study shows people are more likely to attempt to be funny after watching Saturday morning cartoons. You don't want bad comedians roaming the streets do you?

Ok if kids wern't aloud to be funny we would be lacking most of are great comedians, i would be worried about the themes of the TV show rather then how funny it is, the themes tend to be alote worse and effet children more. Oh and did you just watch a saturday cartoon? go back onto the couch little kid

I have to agree with the OP - humour, funniness - it's completely ruining today's youth, and it needs to be banned. We need some seriousness in this thread, and it isn't being delivered.

We need to destroy cartoons and get them reading Gray's Anatomy. That should do the trick.
