When I was playing Sonny 2, I noticed that a few people were asking how to beat The Baron. Since I sympathized with them (Having been in their position before.) I decided to make this topic to help them out.
Now, the easiest way to beat him is to be a Biological. Yes, I know, it is the easiest class, big deal. It is also very effective against many of the other bosses.
Make sure before the battle that you have Disrupt fully upgraded. With it upgraded it instantly destroys 100 Focus on your target, and attempts to do 2 Debuffs on the target. One of the best parts is that it only uses 40 focus, which should be easily regenerated if you had the sense to put points into Integrity.
When you enter the fight with The Baron, immediately use Disrupt. Now, you may wonder why you should take away his Focus, considering he has around 50,000 health, but you will see the very next turn why you did that.
When The Baron hits 0 Focus, he enters a stage where he takes away about 5-7 thousand health away over several turns to regain his Focus. During those turns he can't attack or do anything, so be sure to get some hits in on him. Also, you should have Veradux set to Defensive Mode (Don't set him to Phalanx unless you, him, or Roland take a lot of damage.) so that he can get in some attacks too. Roland should be set to Aggresive Mode during the fight, so that he can use his minor healing ability on himself if needed.
Now you'll have to go through the process of using Disrupt and attacking several times, and The Baron will give your party some punishment during then. You shouldn't be surprised if Roland or Veradux dies (Heck, both of them might die before the battle ends!).
When The Baron hits around 10,000 health, the process of Disrupting should come to an end. You should definitely watch out for his attack, "Tick Tock," As that does serious damage by the time the effect ends. From there, just attack him with everything you've got to try and take out the rest of his health.
It can be a hard fight, but if you know how to face him, it becomes a breeze.
Yeah, like I said before, it's just a matter of getting his focus to zero. You can use any class for this, but, like before, I preferred the Biological because it has a direct focus-draining attack
