A lot of people around the world use MSN, AIM, IRC, Skype, Digby, etc. They are all good instant messengers, and if you use one that isn't one of those, you can still leave a comment saying why you think the one YOU use, is better than all of them. And if you use one of those and you think that one of those is the best, then say it here.

I personally think that MSN is a great instant messenger, it has scripts, themes, groups where you can set your contacts(a lot of IMs have that though). Skype is also another one i use, which i consider awesome. Why? you can call anyone for free, it has an IM in it, and nothing is better than group calling.

So i already said mine, what is your favorite IM?

I just use AIM because it works fine so why change it. The first I had and I still use it. Go AOL!

I don't like AIM, because a lot of people i know don't use it, they use MSN, so why would i use something almost nobody else uses?

But i use Trillian, so it doesn't matter, like over 3 IM's in one.
I can use MSN, Skype and AIM in Trillian.

Well I dont use IM that much mostly text or email. That trillian sounds intersting though I might look into it.

You should, Trillian is an all in one instant messenger. Trillian is awesome! but i still use MSN for personal reasons.

I would thing that having yahoo messenger is the best. Because it has like all the features you want.

MSN. Mainly because everybody has it. Not many people have the others round here so no point in using them.

MSN, for sure. I don't know anyone that doesn't have a MSN. It's definitely the best IM.

msn for internet friends and google talk for real life friends

I don't use it like that, i made a separate Windows live ID for Internet friends and another one for IRL friends.
the best thing is communication with smokes

I would thing that having yahoo messenger is the best. Because it has like all the features you want.

I've never tried it before, but i hate it, mostly because it doesn't have that much features as MSN does.

I used it once, but i didn't get used to it ; it was my sister's i was using.

I use MSN, and have for over 6 years - even if it were not the very best messenger, I'd still use it, and it appears to eb - although you need to download MSN + to really bring out it's potential, it really is simple, pretty, and useful.

Everybody now have an iphone or a blackberry, it's quite impressive. But with the BBM, I guess blackberries are better! It's a very private IM.
