So, am I the only one that seems to have the cache issue? Is there a fix for it?

I am using Firefox 3.6.8 with all the latest updates.

I play a lot of tower defense games, for example Germicide is one here.

Over the course of a few days I got up to level 14 I believe.

But now the game will not load. My only solution in the past seems to be to clear my cache and then refresh, but then I lose my progress.

This happens to me all too often, but only at Armor Games website.

3.6.8 is rife with bugs.

Try getting Firefox 4.4 Beta.

Avoid using IE, it seems to be the main solution of most problems. Firefox works very well, Safari too, and Chrome seems to be great for gaming too.
But now the game will not load. My only solution in the past seems to be to clear my cache and then refresh, but then I lose my progress.


Do you know if the game was updated? It may not work with the old cache files, do some gibberish and then freeze. What kind of a screen do you get?

Sometimes solutions are hard...

Also, check if any ad-ons get in the way (Like Ad-blok perhaps). Turn them off if you think they do.

It's not a "game" updated. It's the whole Armor Games games.. every game here will do it for me. I can clear my cache, start playing again, but it'll randomly happen again.

Hmm.. maybe Firefox 3.6.. I downloaded 4.0 beta 4 and the game worked instantly and I was able to start where I left off.

I didn't add Firefox 4 beta to my start menu or desktop or anything and I won't fully start using it yet because I use a program that has a password upon startup, which is not compatable with 4. I like to protect my bookmarks and data from the Girlfriend.

Well, the problem is back. Just great. I made it to level 18 or 19 and now it's not loading again.
