When I was younger I used to be rather coleric if something really didn't work in a game, mostly at Playstation games. What I did then was that I hit the ground, or the piece of furniture I sat on, very hard with the fist. After that I grumbled and shouted that this was unfair and how was I supposed to do it and so on. But I'm proud to say that I never broke anything and I don't act like this anymore.
Yea sometimes when there's something and i really can't get past it i want to throw the console/the game away.. With 1 game i quit for almost 3 years and than i started playing again all from the beginning and i got past that part right away haha! I was like oww so that's how you're supposed to do it xD
It's not often, it has to be pretty severe before I want to punch something. The worst was after beating FF8 the ending cut-off half way through because my bro scratched the disc. I didn't figure that out until I beat it again and the same thing happened. After I got it buffed I went home and beat it for the 3rd time, at that point I just thought it was funny. I so pwnd that game.
The same brother that scratched my disc also punched-in our snes when we were younger. Maybe that's why I don't have a temper with games, I don't wanna end-up breaking my shiz.
I get frustrated every now and again - before it used to be every checkpoint I spent more then 5 minutes on, but I've really slimmed down the rage meter to a point where unless I'm repeatedly dieing or not getting anywhere, then it's pretty much cool.
Oops! I meant nes. That would be impossible with an snes. It was getting old and we took the plastic casing off of the top exposing the metal frame, and that made it work somehow. It would still freeze occasionally, which is what caused its demise.
If there's a walkthrough I just go there, but if there isn't I'll just say, "**** this!" or something like that.
I always feel like a hoser using the walkthroughs. I feel like I didn't really beat it or something.
