I uhmm...I had an idea for a unique RPG since this place is pretty overrun with warfare and survival RPGs and nothing else. This is the result. I want you to keep in mind that this RPG is purely prototypical.
Name: Your name. Party: Just pick a party. Your party should correspond with your character's views in the game. Office Type: You can start off by running for Mayor(taking a Path to President) or Sheriff(taking a Path to Attorney General). You decide which you want, it doesn't have that much of an effect on you. City: Real city, please. City Type: Small/Medium/Large. More on that below. Agent: Your agent helps you out with the public's image of you. Campaign Commercialism: Basically, this is how you spread word of your campaign...your agent will advise you on this, so you don't have to think too much about it. Sponsors: Your sponsors are the people that give you $ for your campaign. Sponsors usually expect you to do them favors if you make office, for their support of your campaign, however the people really really do not like this. It'll make it difficult for you to fund your campaign if you don't have sponsors, however if you don't have sponsors then the people will like you a lot more. Money: Your money's important!!! Seriously! You can do a lot with it. Voters: How many people are voting for you. You start out with 10, which will represent your family and friends.
City Types Small: Small towns are, well, small. They have a tight-knit community but not many businesses or places to buy things. Faster spreading of word. Basically, in a small town, word about you will spread a lot faster than in a bigger town, thanks to word of mouth. If you do something good, more people will know about it, but if you do something bad, more people will know about it also. In addition, you cannot buy very much in small towns, and also the employees available there are not as smart as in a bigger town, because of limited education. Little crime. Medium: Medium towns are basically a hybrid between small and large towns. They have more stuff to buy than small towns, but not as much as large towns. Word spreads faster than in big cities, but not as fast as in small towns. Workers are of average intelligence. Mediumish crime. Large: Large towns are huge cities where people stay out of each others' business. You can find almost anything you want here, and the employees are brilliant. However, crime is rampant. If you do something in a large town, whether it's good or bad, chances are it won't affect your voting at all. So...yeah. Go ahead and start. Keep in mind; this is supposed to be unique and only a prototype.

Name:Logan Samuels Party: Republican Office Type: Mayor City: Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee City Type: Small Agent: None. Campaign Commercialism: None yet Sponsors: None Money: None Voters: 10 Well actually, you've got to hire an agent.
Alright, you start out as a Republican in the town of Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee. You are currently going up against another Republican for the position of the Republican candicacy for mayor. If you win this part, then you'll go on to be one of the three people actually running for mayor. However, at the moment your only voters are the six other Republicans(not counting your opponent). Being that this is not a real campaign, you don't need an agent or commercials, but you do have to convince six other people that you're the right guy for the job. How are you gonna do that?
Name: Phillip Vasquez Party: Tea Party Office Sheriff City: Wildomar,California City Type:Medium Agent: None Sponsors: none Money: 0 Voters: 10
I changed your party to Tea Party since that's an actual party. Also, kudos on getting a real town, now I won't have to make crap up!
You are running for the office of mayor in the medium-sized town of Wildomar, California. It is a medium sized but quickly growing town, with a population of 31,000 people as compared to 14,000 only ten years ago. There is a wide variety of people there and as you're just starting out, you have no idea what exactly the people want to hear. Being that it's so diverse politically, there would probably be someone who hates it and someone who loves it every move you make. What will you do?

actually boston tea party is an actual party look it up ^.^
well since i believe in immigration rights (immigrants still get rights like health care so long as they work to better the country)i have my family produce and hand out fliers for that
Name: Phillip Vasquez Party: Tea Party City: Wildomar,California City Type:Medium Agent: None Sponsors: none Money: 0 Voters: 310 Workers: 10(family and friends)
Actually, I think you're confusing the Boston Tea Party of the Revolutionary War with the Tea Party. The Tea Party is named after the Boston Tea Party, but their name is the Tea Party, not the Boston Tea Party. And I did google it just to be sure, and with Boston Tea Party all I got was the Revolutionary War stuff.
Your family and friends print out fliers with something about immigration policy being loosened up and life being improved for immigrants. Being that this is, after all, California, the majority of the voters agree with you. Even after subtracting the people that disagree with you whose votes you lost, you still gain quite a few voters. Polls up, +300 Voters!
Your Democrat opponent John Meyers makes a popular move by advocating gay marriage, and his polls go up past yours temporarily! However, he loses votes again when he takes on oil companies as sponsors. +311 votes! -24 votes! Polls up: 287 Voters!
Republican party candidate Richard O'Brien gains votes by making a moving speech, however said speech is nothing but talk and doesn't really say anything about what his plans are. His votes go up, but not as much as they would have if he would've put some real effort into the speech. +241 votes!
Polls Tea Party candidate Phillip Vasquez. Votes: 310. Democrat Party candidate John Meyers. Votes: 297. Republican Party candidate Richard O'Brien. Votes: 251.
What will you do now?
I've removed the office thing because it's just too confusing that way lol.

I head over to the park with my other voters, since I can reach them easily (being friends and family) and we set up a small rally. Drink stand, face painting, mainly a small carnival, but without the rides. I set up fliers near the street asking people to come to the rally and support me as their upcoming mayor!
