Backstory

Prof. Green: The Prototype is ready to test on the subjects. Prof. West: Good. Subjects! Are you ready? Subject A: Yep. Subject B: You got it. Subject C: Whatever Prof. West: Deliver the prototype.
The test subjects all take the prototype antibiotic. The antibiotic was designed to strengthen their immune systems and thus, creating less sickness.
Subject A: I don't feel too good, doc. Subject C: Yeah, I feel... I feel... I-I F-F-Feel (Falls on floor) Subject B: Oh man... My h-head is all... (Collapses) Subject A: That's not going to happen to me is it? (Falls on floor) Prof. West: Oh, dear. That can't be good. Prof. Green: What went wrong?
2 hours later
The proffessors have gone to check the designs and blueprints, while the subjects lay motionless on the floor. But suddenly, one of them twitches, then gets up. The other two do the same.
Meanwhile...
Prof. Green: Did you hear that? Prof. West: Yes... I think I heard a groan in the other room. Prof. Green: We should go check it out.
The two professors walk into the testing room. The subjects are walking around, but very strangely.
Prof. Green: Are you three alright?
The subjects look at the professors for a moment, then they run full sprint at them... and eat them.
2 weeks later
The entire city is in chaos. Once someone is bitten by an infected individual, the virus spreads to them. They will either die, or reanimate. The virus has spread to about half the population by this point, and just about half have escaped. The unlucky ones are trapped.
i'm tapped out of ideas at the moment. i've been moderating my first successful game for the past few days. i used up most of my gaming idea energy just figuring out i should make the bear respond based on the action given and the roll. if you really want me to make my own reason the now about this... the virus spread to the air and alters the genetics of those who are immune to its killing/zombifying effects there. if my idea sucks, don't blame me
