I have a few favorite bands, but I own everything by Pink Floyd so I'll toss them out here. I like them for the guitar. For the sometimes strange, for the sometimes deep lyrics. I like them for the general feel of their music.
Favorite instrument to listen to is by far the guitar. But if I'm on Rock Band I prefer to play drums.
Metallica. Great band. Has good songs, some of which have some amout of meaning, and they are much better than just about every other thrash band out there. And Kirk Hammett is one of the best guitarists ever. Not just fast, but really, REALLY smooth. Almost graceful.
Instrument is a tie between guitar and saxophone. Guitars are just epic and you can do anything with them. including smash them :P. Saxophones because they are a lot of fun to play.
Not in a band but hopefully sometime in the future, just for fun.

I like the Red Hot Chili Peppers cause they're music is awesome , and Flea's bass playing is cool. Dani California is one of my favorite songs by them.
AC/DC is the best band ever. They are so beastly and Angus actually doesn't drink alcohol which is not like any other rock n' roll guitarist
Instrument? The one that is more fun to play or the one I'm better at? More fun to play would be guitar. It's challenging and learning the songs you like is fun. Trumpet is an instrument I'm actually good at. I don't practice though. I should then maybe I could get that trumpet solo I've been wanting for a while. But there's idiots in Jazz that try so hard to be better than me and fail...
Am I in an out of school band? No. There is something at school where people form bands and audition, which I'd like to do. I am in school band, Concert and Jazz.
