Get the melee units to throw their secondary weapons (knives) at the skargans, then get half of the melee units to retreat and move back around to the grenadiers, so that they think all the melee have gone while the other half stay hidden behind cover until thereâs no more fire from the enemy. Then we charge at them.

well they throw their knives killing a few skargans as half move out the skargans fire on them but mostly miss they start approaching you charge but they know about your armor the concentrate fire on one killing him you stab one in the face you think its all handled then *SCREEEEEE* you see an arachnid charge one of your friends the knife like limbs rip him up and then *THUD* your knocked down and you feel a searing pain in your left shoulder and your lance is knocked away

well you get back at position you kill a flyer the other heads towards the base along with 4 grenade throwers and 2 normals leaving the rest as you try to reload the bolt action the grenade thrower lobs one at you (arachnid grenades are arachnids themselves they are the size of your fist but make a big boom) it lands with a thud and beeps softly then sends out its land clamps to prevent throwback

you manage to slice off its legs as it screeches in pain you can't get on it but you do slice open his stomach a viscous purple goo comes out

you run down to see the squad fighting for its life you can see some are pinned down one is currently being ripped apart and the rest shooting back
Hey Loco you know there's a starship troopers novel right? That's what the movie was based on...I just think it's kinda funny, everybody knows about the movie not the book but the book is like a trillion times better.

If any other melee units are alive i link up with them and make a phalanx formation, steadily marching towards the rest of the enemies. Getting in between the grenadiers if any are alive so they are behind us in safety.

you manage to kill the rest with little problem but you can't find any medical supplies but you do find something that looks like a flame thrower with a ammo hole the size of your bulky container...

Fit the container with the goo into flamethrower, take another standard issue container from a comrade and fill it with more goo as spare. Test to see what happens.
