Well that's a rather broad topic. There is no best of rock, or rap, and WTF is house?
If you go deep down into the subgenres though, you can some bests of those. Rock has plenty of them. Even subgenres of subgenres. I don't know about rap, so I can't say with certainty the same about it.
I'd need more specific, though I prefer the rock end of things. Specifically metal. Specifically thrash metal.
