Would you prefer Armor games to be a democracy?

There would be yearly elections for ten seats as mods in which all the plebs of Armor Games got to vote, this would create a lot more activity in the community. Alliances would be formed people would stab each other in the back it would all be very interesting so what do you think would Armor Games as a democracy work?

I think the way armor games is now is totally fine.I think there are people here who know why I would not want this site to be a democracy.

Well since you asked.I seem to be in the minority on armor games and that is Christianity. If armor games became a democracy I fear there are some people who may want to change some of the rules on armor games that may hinder my rites.Hopefully not but all politicians lie.My hope is that if something like armor games becoming a democracy was to happen people that would seek to ruin the freedom of speech won't be elected.

Right then - let me step in here for a moment (without reading any of the posts). ArmorGames wouldn't work as a direct democracy because it is simply too large and not everyone would be represented. A better idea would be a representational democracy whereby we have people we can talk to and put our views across to - who can then put them across to the people in charge. I'm gonna guess here and say somebody will complain that they won't be represented properly and feel persecuted or oppressed because of their beliefs - I can assure you that as a representational democracy that the representatives will be chosen by the people, for the people and of the people. If they aren't doing their job right then they get a chance to defend their corner or get the boot as it were.

That is a good idea Avorne but I still say if it's not broken then don't fix it.

I agree. I just meant if it ever happened that we needed to change for sone reason - that might be the best way to to it.

I also agree. If the website did need to change then that would be the best way to do it.

Maybe a key shift in the opinions of the core user group causes a large scale rejection of the way the system is currently run.

Or maybe the dude who owns this site dies and doesn't put in his will who gets the site.after that there will be constant fighting between different armor games users as to who will get the site.Hundreds of people will probably die in the chaos and in the end we will all just agree yo disagree and we will set up the type of government Avorne said.I see this as the most likely possobilty.

if the creator dies, then this site will given to his son or wife or something

No there will be a war and hundreds of people will die gosh how many times do I have to explain it.

Armor Games as a democracy is a very bad idea. Let's just leave it at that.

Perhaps you'd like to explain why you feel that way?
