they barely beat the worst NFL team, the lions, and if it weren't for Detroit letting go of the ball, we wouldn't have. i am a bears fan and i feel bad for the lions because their touchdown, to me, looked like it counted. he had his feet on the ground with the ball, he thought it was a touchdown and let go of the ball. do you think it should've counted or not?
Because they barely beat the lions, i also think the bears, again, r ganna suck (and Lovie Smith should be replaced... he fired that one defensive coordinator from the '85 win)
Yeah...I live in Bears country, but i don't even watch them anymore...they're just like the cubs. So all that leaves in Chicago is the Sox who were doing good for a while, but blew it. That's why im a steeler's fan, and my dad was from there, they won six superbowls, more than any other team in NFL history.
I agree with Joe96. Chicago sports teams are a joke. The White Sox had some kind of surge through the summer but then stopped winning games, and obviously the Bears and Cubs are pathetic. That leaves only the Bulls and the Blackhawks. Bulls were good with Jordan back in the 90's but they're doing ok at best in recent years, and obviously the Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup.
But anyway, I thought that call was one of the worst calls ever made in sports history (it ranks up there with Jim Joyce's call from June). Calvin put the ball down to celebrate and it was ruled an incomplete pass. I don't get it. At all. It's almost like these referees are paid to make the wrong play (I wouldn't be surprised since it was the Bears because they're pathetic, just like the Cubs!)

I'm really tired of people who don't cheer for their local teams because they lose. Where's the loyalty? I live in SoCal, and I get sick of all these Steelers, Patriots and Colts fans. The only reason they cheer for them is because they win all the time.

Yes, but the one that angers me the most is Colts fans. All they do is talk trash to all other fans because "their Colts" are better than all of the other teams, but when Peyton Manning retires, they'll become Cowboys fans or some other bandwagon team.

You must love Niners (and Raiders) fans! Loyal to the end of a losing team! But that doesn't stop the annual disappointment after disappointment accompanied by shouts and groans. I don't know any people in NorCal who are fans of any football team not in NorCal.

Yeah, but if you look it up, the Raiders have had the least amount of fans attending their games in the past few years. But I guess I would call their fans loyal, if they come to games dressed up like Gene Simmons... The real loyal fans are the ones barely anyone talks about, the Bills and Browns. They've both had losing season after losing season and they still come to games.
Even if you followed it for a month you'd learn a lot about it.
He's right. Before last year, I would just watch Jets games and see what the final score was. Now that I pay more attention to it I understand it much better.
