So, I think I'm going to get a Turtle Beach headset. But, I just wanted to know if they are worth it. I'm getting this one: rev=/images%3Fq%3Dturtle%2Bbeach%2Bheadset%2Bear%2Bforce%2Bx1%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26biw%3D1285%26bih%3D598%26tbs%3Disch:1&um=1&itbs=1&iact=hc&vpx=113&vpy=283&dur=1373&hovh=225&hovw=225&tx=123&ty=123&ei=vr2STPHqMYH58AbeoMS3BQ&oei=vr2STPHqMYH58AbeoMS3BQ&esq=1&age=1&ndsp=26&ved=1t:429,r:9,s:0" alt="http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://ii.alatest.com/product/600x400/7/1/EarForce-X1-Wired-Headphones-0.jpg&imgrefurl=http://alatest.com/reviews/headset-reviews/turtle-beach-ear-force-x1/po3-36122474,128/&usg=__whmD8qk300rdNcTjgQU9i8vO5gc=&h=400&w=400&sz=12&hl=en&start=0&zoom=1&tbnid=derjxwYQLuy_0M:&tbnh=117&tbnw=114&rev=/images%3Fq%3Dturtle%2Bbeach%2Bheadset%2Bear%2Bforce%2Bx1%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26biw%3D1285%26bih%3D598%26tbs%3Disch:1&um=1&itbs=1&iact=hc&vpx=113&vpy=283&dur=1373&hovh=225&hovw=225&tx=123&ty=123&ei=vr2STPHqMYH58AbeoMS3BQ&oei=vr2STPHqMYH58AbeoMS3BQ&esq=1&age=1&ndsp=26&ved=1t:429,r:9,s:0" /> For 30 bucks (+ shipping and handling). So, are they worth it? Or should I not get it?
And in terms of worth, (sorry for double post) if you game a lot, I'd recommend picking a headset up since it helps for soundwhoring (hearing footsteps)

I do game a lot. But a few months after I got my xbox, my headset (it came with the xbox broke. So now, I am determined to get a turtle beach. But, there is no way I am paying a 100 bucks for an Earforce x3. Can you still hear foot steps with the Earforce x1?
Turtle Beach are apparently a beautiful headset. They're actually surprisingly expensive, but they're at the forefront of Xbox 360's headset market. If you can fork out the cash, these are definitely the best choice, any one from the franchise. However, make sure you're using them for more than hardcore gaming, you can hear footsteps with any cheap-o headset and the only reason you'd want a seriously proper gaming headset is to hear the footsteps louder, but that's a waste of $100, make sure you have CDs and crap to listen to quality music etc.
Skullcandies are also pretty nice brands but aren't specifically targeted at gamers. They've got pretty good quality sound, not as good as Turtle Beach's as far as I'm aware. A lot of the money goes into their unique and colourful designs.
Earforce I wouldn't bother with. Never heard of them, and if they're not famous they probably didn't do too well.
i got turtle beach x31 and they have helped me so much because you can hear people dead well and people round you wont be able to hear you i think there well worth if you are good also check out my yt channel MiniCaleProductions for montages sniper lobbys etc

You've still got quite a bit of practice to do, but you're definitely a pretty good quickscoper. I'd say you want to upload videos of entire matches, montages do not prove skill, of course in a week a skilled player is likely to get three minutes of nice kills. Getting a good score throughout an entire game is what really shines talent. That's why Machinima upload full game videos but not montages.
Nonetheless, keep practising you seem pretty good.
wow quick response and i know about needing full games but im just learning my way round recording and editing i got most of the clips when i got it and just wanted to have something on yt thanks for commenting
