honestly why do people hack online fps games? what joy could the possibly get from going onto games such as cod and hacking, I've been playing s4 league recently and the number of hackers in that game make it almost to crappy to play. do these people just do it to destroy games, or do they actually enjoy hacking the game?
games on steam tend to have vac ban or something like that
VAC is a very primitive anti-cheat engine. It's very bad at detecting the latest aimbots, wallhacks and macroinstructions. In fact, it was one of the biggest negatives to Modern Warfare 2 and why a large majority of the PC gaming community strongly dislike it. PunkBuster is the way to go, even though I have major problems getting into games that run PunkBuster, but it's the way to go if you want reliable and powerful anti-cheat.

Why not? They don't care if they get abused by a million insults, they're either AFK or laughing really, really hard.

That's because it's made by a poor developer who haven't implemented technologies like PunkBuster.
do these people just do it to destroy games, or do they actually enjoy hacking the game?
They do it so they can laugh at the responses. The misery and full caps rants that some people verbalise is absolutely hilarious.
Well, I've trolled enough games to know that it's an incredibly fun experience, seeing them writhe before your words like a fish on a hook. It can be a rewarding time, and it is generally held in a bunch of disfavour by most people.
I'm going to assume that hacking is on the same level. If you're doing it because you suck, then you suck. If you're doing it to incite rage in other people, then post pics because chances are that it's hilarious.
i remember playing mw2 of ground war had 9 ppl all 10th prestige and in the same clan on the other team all had wall hacks jumping hacks that made themn jump like 50 ft
This is why I no longer play any COD games except for WaW. Even then, I play BC2 more often. I swear that at least 85% of the time in that game, you are killed legitimately.
I've played CABR a week ago. the game didn't have alot of hackers, but it increased dramatically after a server update which removed the EXP/GP game launch boost. there was no change to the game files - only to the servers, indicating the antihack system wasn't changed at all.
i think the hackers increase happened because of the gameplay rank boost they lost with the server update, which means they try to get to rank 1, so, they're hacking for bragging rights.
IMO, a hacker shouldn't be called a hacker, unless you're sure he made the hack. else, the correct denomination would be "script kid".
do these people just do it to destroy games, or do they actually enjoy hacking the game?
I dont think they do it to destroy the game. There aint nothing better than beating the crap outta human players. In the end tho its a hollow victory. Either that or they are sadists and like to see others get angry.
I don't mind if people hack the game so they can have weird names or something pointless like that. I just absolutely hate it when people change the game to make them almost unstoppable at a game. Take MW2 for example, people can give themselves explosive rounds.....do you really need that to have fun?
