I have seen recently that the feedback on games are usually like this:
"awesome" "[number]/10" "i dont get it" "fun" "i like it" "retty good" "lame" "cool" "lol"
and so on...
I think it would be better if people gave more constructive feedback on games... how should "lame" help? Yes, the author of the game now knows that some people don't enjoy his/her game. But what part should he improve? What do people want the part they don't like to be like?
Even criticism like "awesome" doesn't help much either... other than to encourage the author that people enjoy his game. People should include what they didn't like (if any), and suggestions for the author too.

is that people just want AP. They spam the comments to get AP and get known. I would know this because when I first joined the site I did that. But now I just stick to the forums and probably give a long response to a game that was submitted on the front page.
I do think there should be an amount of words requirement so people can't spam. Hopefully someday there will be.
Like 133player said. People just want to gain AP fast. Personally when I play a game I will sometimes leave a 10 word comment. But I usually try to go more in depth.

Yes, I hope there would be an amount of word requirement soon. That would really put down the spam... unless people just repeat the same world over and over again or add unnecessary amount of punctuation marks.. xD
You can't force people to comment for anything other then the AP - it's not like you have to read the reviews, they're only there for a quick boost. People will always play the system to get it in their advantage - it's not something you can help, and it will always happen.
Merits exist to encourage people to comment decently. Although they aren't much as a way of an AP fix for the time they take to write, they do give a boost and they look good on a profile for bragging's sake to boot. That's how you encourage people to comment, you don't force them to - not all people even know how to comment.

I have to agree with all of this, what are we going to do? Have a mod patrol the games for spammers all the time instead of focusing on things they can do to help the overall site?

I don't like people who like AP and spam for it. It's just stupid. AP isn't your life. AP doesn't affect your life. It doesn't help you in life. Spamming for it won't help. You'll get caught and get banned.

No it's fine the way it is. Too much work for a mod.

we actually should have volunteer mods that aren't full mods but are trustworthy people who will take AP and ban spammers on game
