You try to use your hopeless nerd voice, but the teacher doesn't fall for it. The rest of the class looks on sympathetically as you crash and burn. "Miss..." you begin. "Mrs." she corrects you. "Mrs. Harper," you continue, "lleeeeasee don't get me in trouble. My parents require me to have at least a 3.8 average and this could screw it up." You use your best nerd voice. "I see..." "Some of my friends and I are remodeling the principal's office, but one of them's sick today, so we're one man short. Want to help out?"
