Hello dudes so tonight at church we are going to be talking about what to say when an unbeliever asks you a question about Christianity.

So All you Atheists help me out here. What are questions you would ask a Christian?

There should at least be a trial for God, something like genocide or crimes against humanity you could even compare God to Hitler teeeheeee. I still belive the Virgin Mary was raped and why is raped censored?

Eh, not a half bad idea. Then again it would no doubt do more good than harm but it would make a fun online event for a certain community.

I still belive the Virgin Mary was ***** and why is ***** censored?

It's not rape if you're willing and I believe she was and good question.

Is gigantor censored? It is on adult swim.

There are many debates for and against the murders committed by God. Many claim that he did it to show the rest of us some sort of lesson. Others argue that if he is all-knowing that he would have known that these men would be wicked and wouldn't have created them simply to have to murder them and send them to hell. Either way is just semantics.

The issue with religion is that much of it is argued to be 'metaphoric' yet it gives us no way to discern what is and is not meant as metaphor, outside of our own reason. However it is our reason which is in defiance of religion as a whole in the first place.

If reason and logic are the only ways God gave us to discern what is literal and what is metaphor, shouldn't we trust them about everything else pertaining to religion? And if not then our reason and logic are flawed and we can't even trust them to help us discern what is literal and what is metaphor. And if they are correct, then we should apply them liberally to ALL aspects of religion, not simply interpretation of parables and other stories in the Bible.
