The gameplay was totally like I didn't except it to be. Another bad NFS (imo) unluckily.
Considering that I have thoroughly played all the Need for Speed Titles starting from "Need for Speed III: Hot Purisuit" and ending with "Need for Speed: Most Wanted" (Seven titles in all)
I would like to say that the demo of NFS Hot Pursuit handled quite nicely. The cars had a very nice "Need for Speed" style handling, not too much like a simulation, but not too aracadey. I also enjoyed the speed wall where fastest times, records, etc. are posted for your friends to see and challenge.
I just wanted to clarify that I haven't played all the Need for speed titles. and @PrideRage, I'm not trying to knock your opinion on the game. It hasn't really come out yet and for all I know it could be lame like the last 4 or five NFS, which you basically said. I just was saying I disagree with what you said about the demo, I enjoyed it.
@Reton8 I respect your opinion. I played all titles from Underground and Hot Pursuit 3. I also enjoyed the demo quite a bit but when I try to steer just a tiny bit to the left (or rights its the same) it doesn't react. For me that's a problem because I got used to NFS:Shift This game has it's pro's and cons. I mean if you are kinda new to the NFS series, disliked the previous NFS titles before and/or you are a Burnout fan this game is worth buying it.
For me it's not worth buying it because I will not be able to get the money so fast, and if I get disappointed I want my money back
I said "The gameplay was totally like I didn't except it to be." That wasn't just a negative opinion. I excepted it to be like Shift or Burnout, yea the controls were overwhelmingly new to my so i got scared.
If you have the money and like driving in cool environments, without much simulation, then this game is for you. It's nothing for me because I prefer giving headshots and playing Guitar Hero
I was excited when I first heard about it, but after trying the demo, not so much. I had high hopes for the game when i heard Criterion was making it. The driving physics were a pain to get used too, it was way too loose.
Forget my other posts. The Wii (only console i got) version is REALLY bad!! I regret waiting for it to come out. Hope you guys get better luck out of the game then i did!
