I don't have an xbox, and I don't have a ps3. I have a wii. Now before you start going "you're a noob wii sucks" let me explain. See, I can't afford an xbox or a ps3. And I like the wii. It's all I have, and I think it's fun. I understand that most games on the wii sucks large ones, but there's a few games that I enjoy. I own Call of Duty: world at war, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. I also own Red Steel 2 (an 1800's shootergame), The Conduit (a halo - like shooter game), and Metroid: other M. I don't own any zombie games for the wii, but I am probably going to get Resident Evil sometime soon. I also pre-ordered Call of Duty: Black Ops for the wii. So what I'm trying to say here is that the wii doesn't completely suck.
@Swndl3 i used to when i rented the game for five days but not anymore.
I feel that it's just kind of interesting and serves as massive money grabs for nintendo. Frist off, when it came out, all the nintendo fanboys bought it wanting to play brawl and twilight princess (I am one of them), and then once the press started saying that it's "exercise" and "keeps kids active", it milked the approach of a fitness/motion sensor based console, which brought in all the non intense gamers to buy it, and now, as someone said, xbox and ps3 are trying to copy all that motion sensor stuff, because they realize that it brings in tons of consumers, which is kind of disappointing in my opinion, but hey, that's business.
I definitely agree with that. I hate how they think that they can top the wii. No, I would not buy the playstation move, or the xbox (whatever it's gonna be called). I think that those are retarded scams to make money, off of copyrighted stuff made by nintendo. But like u said, it's business.

You do realizde that motion sensors have been around for about 10 years, right? Nintendo didn't create it.
I have had a wii for ages it is quite fun but i'm fed up with nintendo trying to make all there wii games motion sensor
OK. So you spend a few years trying to integrate motion sensing technology with gaming. You pull it off and millions of people buy your console. You then believe Nintendo should neglect the Wii's capabilities and go and develop games identical, only with less appeal, to those released on 360 and PS3?
. . .
Besides, critics give games a bashing if they don't use all the available control media. If a DS game doesn't use the touch screen for anything, directional movement, attacking, mini-games, you name it, professional reviewers give it a lower grade.

They don't want to top it. If they advertise it as superior to the Nintendo Wii, which currently has dominance in count of units sold, as far as I know, and then the console flops it's not going to create a good image for the other companies. They simply want a slice of the profits and to do that they stamp a logo on the front of the console.
I doubt those new "move" add ons will go well with the PS3 and 360. I can see Halo and 360 people getting black ops or halo:whatever and having those added on and then flopping big time. I also use that controler 2014521 for shooting games. The wiimote I use for Wii sports.
See, this is what most people think of the wii as. Mario, and all that stuff. But I enjoy their shooters because there isn't nearly as many hackers, nobody screaming in your ears what a noob you are, etc.
I own a Wii and PS3 but im an all time PS3 player (hardcore) the only thing that Wii is good for is family and Mario games to i think Wii really is just worth the money its bought for..
that a good point i have not been on my wii for like a half a year. and the ps move is ment to be better than it sore sencitive so it being over taken all ready and that not been long
