So dudes Civilization 5 is coming out and I would really like to buy it(by the way don't turn this into a civilization thread please.)

But I can't get it because my computer isn't good enough for its awesomeness.

So does anyone know what a good computer is. Also I don't have very much money so don't tell me something super expensive.

Okay so just tell me down below what a good computer is.

Keep in mind these are the recomneded specs. Meaning, if you have less then 2GB of ram, it will still run. just maybe not as fast as you would like.

I found some nice asus compuotrs (asus is my favorite) but I can't find a price anywhere.

This is an online tool which can help you check if you can run a certain game. You have to install a Java applet I believe. This is Speccy. It provides quick specs information. It's a 2.5 mb download. Download, install, run.

Recommended specs are recommended for a reason. If you have the money, you should definitely go for the best affordable. You can't expect to run new games smoothly with a mere gigabyte of RAM. You'll need as much as you can get.

ASUS is good. Erm, you should definitely check out some local stores too. Or you could hop online and take a peak.

That would be helpful but the computer I am using now is not the one I play games on and the one I play games on doesn't have internet.

Once you can get on the computor for gaming, check the specs.

Just really find out how much your willing to spend, then check out dell.com, asus.com, aceer.com

all the big names, and just look.

Well, just don't choose apple anything because they aren't good for playing games.
