Alright, so I'm in the volcano zone, and the only unexplored path I have is blocked by a large black monolith. I'm doing okay until the monolith itself appears and fires some sort of beam attack that tears a large hole into the ground, prompting Natalie to say something a split second before a large blast of energy comes up out of the ground, doing 10-11K damage, killing my entire party (which by this point usually has an average of 5-6K HP remaining, but the blast could still kill them at full HP). Is there a way to defend against this or at the very least reduce the damage to something more survivable? My party members are all at Lv. 26 and have most of their spells/techs maxed out in level.
I've been having trouble with this guy too. I don't remember for sure, but it MIGHT be possible to stun or syphon him (probably not possible, but I'm not sure). Otherwise, I think the next best thing would be to just kill all but one of the enemies in the first group, then while there's like one enemy left, stall him and use your time to buff up your party epically. Then, kill the last remaining guy with the first person you use on the turn after you finish buffing, so that once the 2nd group (with the monolith) comes, you have two more people that can hopefully get something done.
