In the bible it shows that Cain have a wife. Cain was the first of two sons of Adam and Eve, but in the bible it says he has a wife...he's also afraid of people killing him after he killed Abel...but theres no other humans in the world! any thoughts?

According to this, Adam lived another 800 years after Seth was born, producing many more children. Seth was another son Adam had that is mentioned in the bible.

dam and Eve were surely &quotrimitive" in their understanding of many concepts, but they were not "ape-like" or intellectually deficient by any means. Adam and Eve were the most perfect human beings in the history of the world.
this is from the link above and it made me laugh.a lot.or many reasons.

I see...

Thank you for that, so it's probably most likely that the sons and daughters married amongst them selves.

The creation of people does get a bit confusing in the Bible since there are actually two accounts of humans being created.

Here we have God making humans for the first time. (I'll be using NIV)

Genesis 1:27
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

And God wants them to do some bumping and grinding.

Genesis 1:28
God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground."

This portion of the creation myth ends in the second chapter.

Genesis 2:4
This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created. When the LORD God made the earth and the heavens--

However right after this...

Genesis 2:5
and no shrub of the field had yet appeared on the earth and no plant of the field had yet sprung up, for the LORD God had not sent rain on the earth and there was no man to work the ground,

Uh, what happened to that male he made back in Gen 1:27? Anyway since God seemed to forget he already did this he goes and creates Adam.

Genesis 2:7
the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

Apparently God also hasn't yet made the garden of Eden.

Genesis 2:8
Now the LORD God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed.

Again God forgets he already made all this already, but his first thought instead of a woman was an animal, suggesting bestiality. But Adam didn't seem to be for that idea.

Genesis 2:18-20
The LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him."
Now the LORD God had formed out of the ground all the beasts of the field and all the birds of the air. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name.
So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds of the air and all the beasts of the field. But for Adam no suitable helper was found.

So God makes rib woman. (yeah again what happened to the first female he made back in 1:27?)

Genesis 2:21-22
So the LORD God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man's ribs and closed up the place with flesh.
Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.

So apparently incest is best. (or is this masturbation?) Does this also suggest they should leave God?

Genesis 2:23-24
The man said, "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called 'woman,' for she was taken out of man."
For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.

Now skipping ahead to the point where Adam and Eve have already has eaten the fruit and God is PISSED!
This part suggests that Eve has given birth in the past and any further births will hurt like a mother...! Oh, and God sets in place sexism....

Genesis 3:16
To the woman he said, "I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing; with pain you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you."

Uh, already others made back in 1:27 that you gave blessings to do the nasty dude.

Genesis 3:20
Adam named his wife Eve, because she would become the mother of all the living.

Now skipping ahead a bit Adam and Eve get booted from the garden (Not for the reason you may think though, but that's for another topic.) Adam and Eve finally have Cain and Abel.

Genesis 4:1-2
Adam lay with his wife Eve, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Cain. She said, "With the help of the LORD I have brought forth a man."
Later she gave birth to his brother Abel. Now Abel kept flocks, and Cain worked the soil.

Skipping ahead again to after Cain kills Abel. There is no mention of what Adam and Eve have been up to during this time and there is no mention of any other people being born after Cain and Abel during this time either. However Cain apparently has a wife.

Genesis 4:17
Cain lay with his wife, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch. Cain was then building a city, and he named it after his son Enoch.

So where did this wife come from?
As 1:27 indicates there could have been other women besides Eve or an unmentioned sister that God seemingly just forget about while working on his garden of Eden project. So the choices are his mother, his sister, or forgotten other woman.

I liked your humorous analysis, Mage. Pointed out some interesting points. And I believe that Cain layed with his sister. Can't imagine Adam wanting to share Eve with his own son.
