Do we continue life in HEAVEN for EVER and what would we do if that happened?

OR do we continue live in HELL for EVER suffering because we all sinned?

This is probably the hardest question in the world to answer but I want to know what you think will happen to us?

Why does there have to be something after we die?

Because being turned off like a lightbulb scares people. I personally have come to terms with this possibility (insofar as one can anyway) but I have a friend who is really overcome with the whole idea of death right now. To make matters worse his gran died last week and he is really brooding and has inner turmoil. I would say stop thinking too deep about it and live but Im not meaning to say DONT think about it. Just take it to the edge and go "ok Im at the edge of sanity, I think Iv had enuf and I need a cup of tea"

Also our world won't be around for eternity so the plan to watch it for eternity won't work.

Maybe not earth but the universe itself will. The universe is (in a physical sense) basically matter and the vacuum of space. It will last forever, because you cannot destroy empty space.

Good thing I dont believe in empty space. We are always finding something more. I like the idea that the deepest place we can go is into matter... not space. Space is small compared to the inner... thing. What would you call it. Between atoms etc.

What I meant was that you can't destroy the parts of space that are pure vacuum, like the nothingness which is between celestial bodies, much like the one between atoms that you mentioned. Besides, what i mean is that existence itself (however you define it) cannot be destroyed (or can it? if so, tell me how).

Actually 'nothing' isn't nothing. If you look closely at the space within a vacuum, like between the particles in an atom, you'll see that inside that 'nothingness' there are actually particles popping in and out of existence. In fact, over 70% of the mass in our universe is in the vacuum, the area where there is supposed to be nothing.

Really? That's interesting. They pop in and out of existence? How?

Quantum fluctuations. The discovery of this is what led to what we now call dark matter. It is matter, but it doesn't exist as we understand other matter to exist. As I'm not a quantum scientist I don't know the ins and outs, but what I have read on it is actually quite fascinating and part of what prompted me to lean toward physics for my next degree.

I got to reasearch this. I am not a huge fan of the mundane parts of physics like the ones we learn in school (kinematics, energy, etc...) but i too am fascinated with quantam physics. It really helps explain a lot about, well, everything.

That doesn't mean anything. Just because we want things to be a certain way doesn't mean they are.

Im pretty sure its connected to dimensions that scientists are theorising to exist. Some say up to eleven. These particles are not really popping out of existence, merely popping in and out of OUR plane of existence. I think they think its what makes the whole thing (i.e. everything). Ya dig!

Well he is scared that his existence will just... stop. That there will be no continuation. I guess its like being aware then being snuffed out with nothing afterwards.

I personally will reserve judgement till I get there... and even then.

Do you think mankind will hold off on killing itself long enough to create technology that will allow to see/travel into these others planes? I'd love to see what's on the otherside but i doubt i'd live that long....

what a terrible thing to say, Don't think about death, think about life and how you're gonna live it. I think when you die, You just go to heaven, and spend your life playing video game in your heaven house with many heaven food and you can never get fat. XD
