On September 23, 34 delgates including the United States, Australia, and all 27 members of the European Union walked out on President Ahmadinejad after he made a series of incendiary comments.

Ahmadinejad essentially stated that the terrorist attack on 9/11 was orchestrated by the United States in order to bolster the declining economy, and strengthen their hold on the Middle East. He also managed to sabotage all his comments made over the previous week about Iran's readiness to dialogue with the United States.

You didn't read the articles at all did you?

Everyone means members of the UN.

As for why he did it, I think I'll wait until you bother to read the articles.

I didn't read all of it but I probably read about half of each. I was busy last night.

This guy is insane. He wants to wipe Israel off the map and he thinks 9/11 was staged. Oh yea! And he wants nukes! We can totally trust this wacko with deadly weapons!

I smell an idiot, believe it or not there are repercussions to kidnapping/assassinating a foreign dignitary. Especially one that is the president of a volatile nuclear nation.

Normally it wouldn't be something to point out, but the middle east isn't exactly on great terms with us at the moment.

Us being the western world, America just gets singled out a little more.

That's what happens when you tend to have the biggest and most conflicting balls around.

Not if no one knows. Forgetting about 'secrecy or death' are we?

Let's not forget his whole 'the holocaust is a myth' thing from a few years back.

I'm going to agree that Ahmadinejad is not going to win any awards for his calm, peaceful demeanor or his political know-how...BUT...there is something that really sticks out to me in the article:

He even suggested that the United Nations create a fact-finding panel to study the theories.

I don't see why this shouldn't be done.

I agree. It'll either put some of the silly theories to bed or prove them at least partially correct - It isn't a bad idea.
