Downtown

In the bustling centre of downtown, you find yourselves only with the bare necessities. Proceed from being a tramp to a feared or glorified person.

Skills:
Firstly concerning the level of your skill, it progresses from:
Poor - Basic - Average - Good - Intermediate - Advanced - Elite
When you train a skill, you do not necessary immediately progress to next skill level.
You can learn virtually any realistic skill from doing appropiate things. E.g. Go gym on running machine - Trains Speed or Read Books on Engineering to increase engineering.

Examples skills aside from the basic strength, speed, endurance.
Engineering, can build and fix things and hot wire cars.
Recon - Accuracy, stealth and sight increases. Train this by practicing stalking people or other players :O and what not.
If you train a skill not listed or which isn't self explanatory i'll write what it enables you to do.

Weapons, Clothes/Armour:
Have to buy these from shops or salvage.
Clothes generally do not give any protective/physical bonus, however they add to your fame which makes it easier to interact with NPCs and recruit to your squad.
Armour, wear this when your in a firefight. So make sure you go home and get changed before doing a mission.

Residence:
A key thing when starting off is to find a place to settle, here you can store any extra weapons and clothes/armor you have as you can only take 2 weapons and 1 set of armor or clothes at a time. Also the better the house, the better health you regain if you rest and other general bonuses.

Squad:
Go it alone, team up with other players (if you do so you have to organise who will be the leader and who the lackey ) and recruit NPCs. If your in a squad with other real player you share a residence.^^

Fame:
Your actions depend on which way fame goes either into negative or positive. This affects interactions with others.

I look at the briefcase and wallet and pick them up look at the mans Id and cheque what's in the wallet I steal about half the money in the wallet and return it to the guy and run before he realized I stole some money.

Unfortunatley the stuff is not lying on the floor.
The culprit/criminal has the stolen goods, and is running away so you give chase. He makes it across the busy road but gets clipped by a lorry jsut as he's about to get onto the pavement. He's lies there dazed, what do you do?

You turn up to the hospital, an attending nurse proceeds to ask you a question. 'Why do you want to work here?'
'I enjoy the satisfaction of making a differnce to people's lives. *cough*And i need the money*cough*'

You can only work max 5hours a day only on weekdays at $3/hr, but you get skills in return for low pay.

I'm guessing you accept, while walking out of the hospital you see a business man, bruised and battered wheeled in. You try to blank out this horrific image and proceed to get some fresh air.

OOC: How kind

You retrieve the stolen goods, taking the criminals wallet aswell. However as you reach for it he grabs you and pulls you down to the floor. Shocked you immediately flail around and hit him in the face. He crumples in pain, in frustration you proceed in kicking him about a bit (Poor Melee Skills Attained)

You go to Thomas in whose in the hospital, where you see the business man injured who was mugged. Will you give his wallet and briefcase back? Inside the wallet you see $500 and you see that he is a journalist working for the 'Armor Times', however you cannot get into the briefcase as its locked.

But for now you split the money in the criminals wallet 50/50.

I give the wallet and briefcase back to the journalist and tell him what just happened but leave the stealing part and go to my night job and ask when my shift start and get ready at my hotel room.

By doing a charitable act, the journalist agrees to write about you in tommorow's newspaper (Fame +5). He leaves you his work card, and tells you that if you ever need anything to contact him.

You go to get a preliminary overview of what you will be doing tommorow in your night job. They give you a dark brass buttoned blazer and matching trousers, this makes you seem authoritative (Fame +1) They also give you a baton and a torch
