Do you like playing with those awesome studded plastic bricks? Do you like playing with the little mini-figures? Well post about it, whether it's your favorite sets, mini-figures, or even a bit of random trivia about Lego's.

I am not a big fan of the sets (I'll take a big box of random Lego Bricks over several boxes of related sets because they're brick deficient.) but I did have one of the Castle theme sets that contained the Ghost minifig. The glow-in-the-dark ghost minifig from the Castle theme was pretty awesome. The Space theme was the probably the coolest partly because of the translucent neon-colored pieces and mostly because you could build spaceships/stations/bases and mock space battles.

Lego...my childhood described perfectly. I hated the sets, sure I'd build them, but then I'd destroy them and use the pieces for something cool, like a giant lego mountain. I used to have the entire Harry Potter set of lego. Also I spent about 4hours one day building a giant lego mountain in which I used all 400+ blocks of my collection. In short I LOVE LEGO. Should you give me lego today I would still play with it for hours on end, and I'm 19 XD

Lego was everything back then!
I even once visited LegoLand in Denmark (the original I think, yes) and slept in a bed made of Lego...very uncomfortable.

I can be described as the two posts above me.
But let us all first take a break and thank Denmark for these tiny bricks of different shapes and colors.

I've built a few Lego twin towers, but it was too easy, just emptied the box out on the floor.

I loved legos. Especially all the minfigures. Building random stuff was the best though. Taking a pirate ship, a rocket and a police station and making something with all three was the best.

They came from Denmark!?!?

They did. Lego stands for "Leg Godt" which in English means Play well/good/nice/awesomely-because-you-are-playing-with-Danish-toys!
Still having the factory here as well, though I think a lot of the production besides the blocks has been moved elsewhere.

Dangit man! I was hoping to make my post before Cenere spotted it with supernatural Danish sense!

No. It means "Let Go! That Is Mine!" or alternatively, "Large Goat" in a non-rhotic accent. Of course, they already Lego'd the Eggo.

I am 27 years old and I still have my legos in my closet. I will pull them out from time to time, when I'm home alone.

I was a fan of the sets, but only the first time I would put them together. I usually altered them in some way, anyway.

Suparnatural \\o/
I have to admit, I actually have only played with the blocks. Dublos (the big ones) and some of the smaller when I got a bit older.
And Bionicle, because my brother has a load of those, but hate putting them together, and... I used two days of my summer holiday putting together some of it for him, being all ecstatic about it... I feel ashamed now.
No sets besides the earlier smaller boxes with some windows and doors and stuff in...

Watch me be unamused by your statement, and ask you why the Germans would put the original Legoland in Denmark. And the factory as well... And the family is Danish...
Hmmm?
