I personally like space wallpapers from Hubble. They have a nice feel and contrast so it doesn't distract you too much.

That's the wallpaper I'm using now. Might have to scroll a bit.

I'm at square one and I need some background/app suggestions. Anything will be appreciated. I'm using Windows XP but I'll have Windows 7 soon enough. My desktop is too cluttered to post here by the way. Just imagine the screen not being large enough to fit all the icons. Haven't done any cleaning recently.

Eh, I posted my desktop in the other recent thread about this.
It was this shiny chrome dragon in space holding a planet look-alike metal/chrome windows start icon.

I also configured my Start Icon, the background is soft dark blue and the four windows are black. I had a design on my toolbars, but my free trail of Windows Blind ran out some days ago, so that ain't working either.

Any tips on desktops, designs, programs for spectacular and unique desktops? Thanks~
