As you probably know Kim-Jun-Il has given his son Kim-Jun-Un A position of power as the vice chairman of the Korean military, now Jun-Un has now political or military experience, to the common eye this seems to look like Jun-Il is grooming his son to take over Korea, does this mean Jun-Il is on the verge of death? How do you think Jun-Un will do in office?
I've seen this Kim Jong Il ill joke before somewhere..... Anywho, I've not got a clue about anything going on in Korea, any link about it, and about Kim Jun Un? Don't fancy opening a whole new tab and writing letters in it, effort.
As you probably know Kim-Jun-Il has given his son Kim-Jun-Un
It's actually "Jung" not Jun. However, yep, I knew that.

Kim Jung Il is a tyrant to the last. First dictate, then pass the duty on to your underage kid.

It would appear that he is...and he probably is. xP In addition, it's pretty 50/50 with Jung's death. It's possible that he's training his son because he's dying, but I think it's because he wants his son to take over after him and when he does, he wants him to not be a total idiot.
How do you think Jun-Un will do in office?
Horribly, assuming he takes office immediately(going with your dying father theory). Fairly well, assuming he will take office when he's older. Then again, Kim Jung the first didn't do so well in office either.
Hmm, interesting. As much as i would disapprove of anyone dictating over a land, i think that Kim-Jung-Un will probably do better than his father, well hopefully better than the other North Korean Dictators before him haha. I don't think Kim-Jung-Il is dying, i think he just want's to force his child into power, making him a stronger (military)leader. Hope he doesn't end up being the one to start a war though :O!!
People believe he suffered a stroke in '08 -- and it seems like he's really pushing for support. His visits to China likely indicate that he wants to forge a better connection. I think Jung-Il DOES want a smooth transition of North Korea's leadership...I think he gave his sister a significant position as well.
In terms of his health? It's not getting any better.
Anyway nothing changes, once the son will replace the father but that's pretty much everything that happens; the poor population doesn't get anything from it, they stay as opressed as before. So I really don't care how King Jong Il is getting on..
