His request was granted, and he was given a few troops of his own to command.
Side: Allies-American
Fine...so I'll just throw them out of the equation then.
I have ten units, we have no idea the size of the enemy force, no idea what defenses they have, and we can't do recon. In addition, we're stuck in a dense jungle?
Fine then, I'll try it. xP
First things first, we'll need a key.
KEY
Alpha: Consists of 5 riflemen, their aim is offensive.
Bravo: Consists of 3 riflemen, their aim is defensive.
Charlie: Consists of 2 riflemen, their aim is supplementary.
Let's see now. Any large-scale offense will be tossed out the window because we have no idea what kind of forces our enemy has, but we must assume that we can complete the mission with the forces we do have. Any stealth attack can also be ruled out because not only are we unfamiliar with the terrain, we must assume that our enemies are familiar. We're assuming for the worst here, that our enemies have already scoped out the whole area, so any hiding spots or similar would be quickly taken out. Our only hope is a hammerblows technique.
Charlie: Charlie positions themselves in a tail behind Alpha and Bravo. They will trail behind the other two teams as a sort of sniper. Any injured soldiers, they will rescue. Anyone in trouble, they will shoot the enemy, but they will not be putting themselves in the thick of the battle. In addition, Charlie will act as both a forward guard and a tailer. They will clear out any small scouts or guards, patches of opposition that could deplete the others' energy before the assault.
Bravo: Bravo will be just behind Alpha in the offensive, a sort of left flank maneuver. Bravo will be behind Alpha in the offensive, but will not immediately join in the attack. Their job is to wait a while after the assault has been launched, after Alpha has lost some of their momentum, then they will reinforce them with their renewed assault. As Alpha falls back to recover, Bravo will fall in.
Alpha: Alpha will be the fist of the attack. They will lead in the assault, with Bravo on their flank and Charlie tailing behind. As soon as Alpha sees the enemy, they take cover, pop a few grenades, and open fire. As soon as Bravo comes to reinforce them, Alpha will fall back to recuperate.
Step 1: Charlie will act as a forward guard and tailer, Alpha will be in the front, and Bravo will be on the flanks. This is the approach to enemy camp, and in this part stealth is critical.
Step 2: As soon as enemy is spotted, Alpha will wait for Bravo and Charlie to find a suitable place; Charlie preferably at a higher location that is reasonably easy to access but difficult to see, and Bravo just behind them but in camouflaged cover. Again, secrecy and stealth is crucial.
Step 3: After Charlie and Bravo have found their places, Alpha will initiate the assault on the enemy; taking cover, throwing grenades, and generally opening fire. Charlie will offer selective and anonymous suppressive fire, Bravo will remain inactive and hidden.
Step 4: As soon as Alpha's initial assault and initiative has begun to fade away, Bravo will fall in on the enemy with a renewed assault on their flank. Alpha will fall back to Charlie's position, and Charlie will apply first aid and generally help them as best they can. Meanwhile, Bravo will be applying the same assault tactics as Alpha was.
Step 5: Once Bravo's strength has been depleted, Alpha will fall back in and Bravo will fall back to Charlie. Alpha will attack at yet another flank, weakening the enemy before they have a chance to regroup. This time, Bravo will be forced to take care of themselves as Charlie will provide, again, selective suppressive fire.
Step 6: Finally, after the enemy has been worn down, weakened, and assaulted from all angles, Bravo and Charlie will both simultaneously attack on the same front as Alpha holds the line at their position. No holds barred, everything comes out this time. The still-rested Charlie will provide the best opposition here.
