Uhh, I know this sounds really stupid but I didn't want to make two threads when I could just make one because both topics are kinda a quick thing to discuss, so here's two questions for you guys.

1) For those of you who report users and bad threads to mods often, instead of pointlessly commenting on said threads and profiles, how do you chose which mod to report to? Because I never know when which mod is active, nor do I know which mod would be quickest to respond! Because Zoph doesn't seem to be too active at the moment, so I can't ask her. Cen isn't around at this time of day, Strop is probably asleep, Gantic may be on, Asherlee may be on, but I just don't know!
Whats your view on this, if you even understood what I've said?

Also,

2) This isn't an advertising thread, so please don't post any links, but can I get a show of hands for who uses dragcave.net? I recently revived Cen's egg clicking thread but no one seems to be interested. I was just wondering if it's a fad that has died out..

Well I don't really report anything to mods, but if I were to, Gantic is always a safe bet it seems. Asherlee is pretty active lately too so probably either of those right now, they're most likely to see it, maybe not exactly when you post it, but the earliest xP

Never heard of dragcave.. but egg clicking doesn't sound like something that is relevant to my interests.

Cen isn't around at this time of day,

Well...
Anyway, if you know who is active in general, it is just posting a link, and then something will happen at some point. Usually it is not that important that it has to be dealt with the moment it happens, is it?
If people are being stupid in the thread, they will just continue to get more and more rope to hang them self in, so it shouldn't really be a problem.

Ahah! I can contact you at all times of the day now, Cen!

Well yeah.. I reported this thread that was necro'd just now in the AMW.. and I didn't know which mod to inform..
I suppose you're right, but I'm sick of seeing backseat modding 7 or 8 posts in a row.. >.>

We are like one hour apart timezonely anyway, so unless I am at school/doing homework, I am wasting my time on the internet:P

And back seat modding is kinda stupid, considering most people are not doing what a mod would do and shut the parrot up, but rather go (this should be read with a whiny voice for maximal discomfort"This should be locked!!!"
As for drag cave... Perhaps we should do a general adoptable thread for clicking/socializing/getting inspiration?

Okkaayy, you're the number one mod to bug now since you're up when I'm up. Timezones suck though.. my friendies go to sleep when I wake up

HA, I read it in the same whiney voice my sister uses to complain about me to mum. Yeesh.. D:

Uhhhmm, I still think you should so the v3 clicky thread with screenshots for the hard of reading. But yeah, good idea. I'm not sure what other sites you'd include though...

Cen pretty much covered all bases, so I'll just end on a personal note:

I am relatively active between these hours: 7 am to 6 pm central standard time. Sometimes I'm in my office, sometimes I'm not. But I check in regularly. Generally, I'm filtering through spam in games and other comments. Keeps me from doing actual work! Haha.

But, there is an email posted on my profile. It is some emergency, like the site was hacked or someone is trolling endlessly everywhere, then e-mail me. Otherwise, post it on a profile and it will be handled by one of us.

We mods...we communicate via telepathy daily. MUHAHAHAHAHA

Yeah, that does suck.

It makes the effect so much greater.

Well, first of all, I should dedicate myself more to the sticky-updating, so if I was going to use a lot of time on a thread/writing up information, it would be that instead.
Second, well, being the pokemon nerd I am, I am running around here, and that combined with being an artist, I also work here, so that is at least two more. Then there are this, and I have seen a few more sites around. Adoptables are quite popular.

Sounds like me, Cen. I moderate several other places as well. One of them, I've been moderating for 8 years.

I just mod around here, and then procrastinate a ton of other places. At least I have some kind of popularity on Squiby, since I am not the only pokenerd about.

Same! Except I don't actually post on any other forums but our AG forums, so I don't get very far with the ol' evolution.. I might just delete and remake a new account if you start a new adoptables thread.

I have a full dex after a year there, simply from clicking around and using the auto reload (I need more legendaries, though D
So, I don't think you should abandon what you have, not with the new batch of pokemon coming out soon(er or later).
But could be interesting to see a new thread for adoptables. Bragging rights are always fun

Brilliant, can you or I put it on our to do lists for later on then? Or maybe we could wait until AG3 and the posts may be editable or something..

The question about active dragcave users still stands, by the way!

Time to comment.

I don't have a direct line to any of the moderators thus I report to the profiles of the two (three times) most active moderators. Afterwards, I wait until something eventuates.

Back seat modding is a phenomenon here. In the end the users are powerless to take real action, especially if the problem is a stubborn troll. Good thing the mods are very competent. When people actually do the right thing it's great.

like the site was hacked or someone is trolling endlessly everywhere

I recall the forums being screwed up.
