National History Day is coming up and the schools participating are starting to prepare. this years theme is Diplomacy; successes and failures. Any suggested topics for my peers and I would be welcome.

Also; at my school, we don't really have a celebration...last year, we participated in a contest where we write an essay on how to be a better American. I won second place. Anyway, yeah. We didn't really cover any history, play any games, or anything. We wrote an essay and from there on, nothing changed.
