Okay let me put in the real version of what this should be: I want to know your opinions on the 40th, maybe 50th thread of Halo and CoD wars. Mine is this: I played Halo: Combat Evolved on the original Xbox and loved it but fell in love with Call of Duty 4, buying an Xbox to play it. But currently I stand with Halo being my favorite game because Call of Duty ideas are becoming really repetitive.
Oh. And Call of Duty is becoming repetitive, however CoD: Black Ops is introducing an incredible amount of customization as well as Wager Modes which I think makes up much more data than in other games with so much in a series. Including Age of Empires which has 7 games (including expansions) in its series, 9 games with the Spinoff Age of Mythology and its expansion.

i liked halo 1 and 2 back then but my xbox broke and i stoped playing halo and now im into the cod series and not really a halo fan in my opinion halo was good up till halo 3 and well cod was good up to cod4 (hopefully black ops changes that)
Lol @ MW2 having a real campaign. " durrr I launched a nuke into space which creates an emp. But no one cares, since I kill bad guys. We also go into this old jail castle-thingy and bash people in the face with huge shields. Then I find my old friend strangling this other guy, and my friend almost kills me! like WTF? So anyways, after that so dude in a 'copter drops this 100m rope down this small conveniently place hole, which leads through about 30 stories of the building. Then we are hauled up and the building we were in explodes and stuff.
i agree highfire COD is more realitic and way better halo is about alien crap COD has real guns and campians
I did NOT say that. It isn't realistic, at all.
1. The best tactic when in a firefight in the open is usually to bunnyhop. Realistic? 2. The Intervention has more power than a Barrett after exceeding 400 yards, the Barrett can easily take someones limb off, and yet they regenerate. Realistic? No. 3. The AA-12 is also a mini grenade launcher and can shoot up to 200 yards (I think), in the game it can't exceed 15. Realistic? No.

Incorrect. You are playing Roach, you didn't even know McTavish's other name, which was Soap - as stated by Worm. Cpt. Price asked 'Soap?', as he ensures him it is him, whilst handing him the M1911 he killed Zakhaev with. Worm then replies 'Who the hell is Soap?'.
It's Soap's friend, not Roaches.
It goes kind of like this: CoD4 ProMod > Halo > CoD4 > MW2. CoD4 ProMod is the most fair and the players have more skill. Halo is on top because it is exceptionally balanced and has vehicles (though if it were PC and could be modded, it may have been the top). CoD4 is second to last because of its little nit-picks it has, which aren't too significant. And MW2 because of the terrible anti-hack system as well as incredibly unbalanced weapons paired with poor community.
i love them both, they own have their each thing. when i play for competition i play cod n if i want to have fun i'll play halo =)
When you say competitive, do you refer to CoD4 ProMod?
Oh and no, I don't think any other mode (including normal ones) for CoD's from MW1 to MW2 (including WaW) is competitive in the fashion I see it. Possibly you, but not 'hard-core competitive'.
