I'll try to explain one of my qualms the best I can. With all of this breast cancer awareness, we have a higher number of women receiving the medical procedures pertaining to breast cancer than previously. In combination with the current healthcare status and funding, I find this not okay. It begins to come out of our pockets.
We really don't understand breast cancer like we should. This means that a lot of women are having costly medical bills, they can't pay, because some awareness campaign is telling them to go get a mammogram. The mammogram then reads a false positive, etc, etc.
what the fuck is up with all the girls posting "i like it *put place here*"
i got a hint from one of my friends that it was about breast cancer awareness, but how can you aware someone who has no freaking clue what you are talking about.
To: Asherlee, I will attempt to help you out by stating my Anti-(just) Breast Awareness, awareness:
By just singling out breast cancer, women are less likely to request that the doctor screen them for other, just as deadly cancers. The #1 killer for women is still lung cancer! ACS-2010 facts and figures

does anybody else no about this
I've gotten too many messages about this. When a girl is saying:
"I like it on the chair," or "I like it on the kitchen table," she is referring to where she likes to put her purse down when she walks in the door.
Why am I not doing it? I don't carry a stupid purse! I have a survival backpack. I'd get laughed at work if I had a purse. I work in a man's world! I'm expected to look a certain way.
