Well I've never heard of Pikmin, so it can't be too good.
Just because a game has not reached your ears, it is not automatically flawed. I've played much more Pokemon than Pikmin, but Pokemon is a repetitive affair. Pikmin appealed to me much more and was more fun by a massive leap.
