If something is very nasty, people say that its ``worst than death´´.what you thin is worst than deat and why? Only think that comes my mind is endless torching (hope that spelled that right...).
lol no, oxygen is not bad (if you want to live) however a lack of oxygen to the brain causes hallucinations and euphoria. Not sure how many of you have ever hear of whip-its or other similar aerosol inhalants, but they replace the oxygen in your blood with other gases which starves your brain of oxygen. People do this to get high, as they find the euphoric feeling desirable. This is the same with other inhalants such as glues, fuels, and paints.

imagine being in as much pain as possible. ill help. you are tied to a chair, cut with a knife slowly, dipped in HCL (hydrocloric acid), have all your hair pulled out, having your genitals bitten off by a dog.
Now imagine pain this excrusiating happening to you incessantly, with no possible way of changing anything.......
Thatd be worse then any possible death i could think of
