This RPG is very simple, and very complex at the same time. Here's what is happening; you are going insane. Crazy right? Well I can't really explain it, I'm just a kid. Why don't we have your doctor tell you all about it?
"The patient's mental condition is steadily deteriorating," reported the psychiatrist. "The longer that they live, the more serious the effects. Right now, all the patient is experiencing is vivid dreaming. But soon that will turn into real-life hallucinations. There have been rumors that the patient's dreams are somehow precognitive. I myself stand with the belief that the patient acts on their own dreams. Thus, they are self-fulfilling predictions, not in any way mystical. We have been able to synthesize a machine that can tell us exactly what the patient is dreaming at any given time, and we seem to have noticed something. If the patient is dreaming something frightening, their heart rate actually spikes as if they were really in a frightening situation. If they are injured in the dream, the injury somehow manifests itself. Although the dream is in no way reality, the patient believes in the reality of this dream so sincerely that if they are injured in the dream, they will subconsciously either injure themselves, or they will have some sort of seizure or heart attack. This form of lucid dreaming is becoming more widespread and dangerous. The longer the patient stays in this comatose state, the more vivid their dreams will become, to the point where dreaming death will actually mean their death. So far, we have been unable to wake them from this neverending dream, but we will continue to try."
So basically, you're dreaming, you can't wake up, and if you die in the dream you're dead. But this is your imagination! Although you obviously can't just godmod, imagination is the key to success in this game. So think about what you could do. Not all dreams are bad dreams by the way; some are good.
You walk downstairs. Now you notice something's not right about something...no one is there. The Empire State Building should be bustling, but it's absolutely silent. There is no one but you.
You go to Central Park outside, when you notice that not only is no one there, something else is missing. The Statue of Liberty is gone from the skyline. In fact, all the statues are gone.
You fall asleep underneath your house somehow... You wake up. You're floating on top of a pile of mist...you only now realize you're in the middle of the air, floating on a cumulus cloud.
Nice try, but your Perception and Strength aren't high enough! The Demon catches you trying to steal its whip and chases you off with said fiery nine-tailed whip. You failed. What now?

Heheh, sweet. I'd like to eat this cloud. I seem to be lacking in energy. Floating is hard y'know?
You attempt to eat the cloud. You try to bite into it, but end up with a mouthful of mist. Oh well. It's cool and refreshing, a delicious drink. Even though it's not like fluffy cotton candy, it's still good.
