I think currency is a form of slavery... Everyone is dependent on it. It determines where you go, what you own, it decides your fate. Every since we were children, we've been taught that you have to make money to be successful. The United States is a supposedly "free" country. But we're all slaves to the dollar. I know bartering would probably not work in this day and age, but I'd like to hear what other people think of this.
I would have to disagree with the statement made by SkullZero1 that "without money is anarchy, but with money is slavery." The definition of anarchy is a world without rule or a country without a government. A government does not need money to keep its constituency in check, they need sheer force, and when that fails, communism is formed. Communism is a system that eliminates the need for money. Look at the success of Soviet Russia. Yes, they did fall eventually, but after the revolution in the early 1900's they managed to keep up developmentally with the United States all the way until early 90s. This shows that a system with no money can be somewhat successful but by no means do I support communism.
hmm, i suppose that would be correct bbyers9113, i wasnt thinking of comunism, i was just thinking of a world where people just took whatever they wanted whenever they wanted.
