Microsoft's Kinect Or Sony's Move?

The Playstaion Move will be better. Motion control is a technology that's been utilised in gaming platforms previously, that means it's a basic job of improving it instead of completely reinventing it.

Kinect is being made pretty much from scratch, and is far more advanced than developing a motion controller. Granted, there was the EyeToy for PS2, but that was such a horrible failure, both commercially and technologically, it's a hopeless affair taking tips from its book.

About a week back I was also watching the reveal for some of the Playstation Move's games and they look so much more inspired and bubbly than what's coming out for Kinect. Kinect may be a commercial win (which will probably help Microsoft release itself from the financial entanglement that Xbox 360 yielded) but Sony will strike the heart of gamers.

My arguing is pretty pointless however, I'm sticking to Wii.

Neither.
Both are cheap spin offs of the Wii. Kinect is a lame thing that Microsoft whipped up. And Move is out, only because Sonny is Microsofts number one competitor. So when Kinect came out, Sonny had to compete somehow so they made Move.
Motion sensors have been in the Video Game industry for quite sometime, but nobody was using them. So Nintendo resurrected motion sensors. Because nobody was using them, the whole 'motion sensor' stuff seemed to be new. So everybody made a mad rush toward the Wii. Because it was 'new'. Because the Wii is racking in so much mula, Micro. needed to keep up, hence Kinect and Move.
End of story.

Originality and quality are two very aspects and should not be confused. Most shooters were complete spin-offs of Doom, and some still are, that does not mean that modern day shooters are weak or flawed. You may have seen it all before, but these improvements prove vital when it comes to satisfying consumers.

Of course they will. Microsoft is a monopoly and will never stop striving to become a bigger corporate behemoth. Microsoft and Sony have dominance over the "sit-on-your-settee-consoles" and neither Microsoft nor Sony are stupid enough to continue seriously competing against Nintendo on the handheld front. They want Nintendo out of the list of competitors and so they need to fight that battle with the weakest of Nintendo's platforms, the Wii.

Are you guys actually kidding? I choose neither of them. I'm a Wii fan all the way! Move and Kinect are just cheap imitations of the Wii and have a lot of cons compared to it. First of all, both are going to be a lot more expensive than the Wii, and in these hard times, who's gonna spend money on something like that? Second, Wii has the top game right now, considering it's been out for long and has captured a large fraction of the American population. Third, the Wii will always come out with new interesting games, while the Move will adapt its old games and make more RPGs.
