Welcome to the thread with the extremely extravagant title!

Well, it's time for another season of some sweet hockey action. I'm hoping my hometown Vancouver Canucks can finally get it done. It's our 40th anniversary, and we still haven't won the Cup yet. I hope we can finally do it this year. I think we've got a pretty good shot this year, I think we've got a shot this year and we've got much better depth.

Hopefully we can just avoid a loss in the conference semi-finals to the Hawks like we have for the past two years, LOL.

As well, anyone hear about how Pavelec just collapsed on the ice? You gotta wonder what makes that happen. He's out with a concussion now, but that was a result of him hitting the ice when he collapsed, so we don't know the cause of the collapse. Could of just been a head rush but who knows. He felt it coming on though because he motioned to the bench right before it happened. Here's a video of it, kinda scary.

So, James Wisniewski gets suspended 2 games for the err... gesture he made at Sean Avery. LOL, stay classy Islanders.
