I'm sure you're all aware that if you try to straight copy off of Notepad, you get this:
Here is some text that I copied straight off of Notepad:
The apostrophe's email, blah&blah@gmail.com, (which does not actually exist), was listed as #3 and put on sale for $400 at 50% off!
See those weird symbols? The reason for this is because by default, Notepad uses a different encoding (ANSI) than AG (which uses Unicode).
So how to get past this? Simple. Hit Ctrl+S, or go to File and press save to bring up the save menu. Now under where you input the file name and the file type, there's a box for "Encoding." Go down there and change it from ANSI to Unicode.
Now save the file. When you do this, it switches up the encoding to something that AG can process. Now, take a look at the sentence that I've saved in Unicode:
Here is some text that I copied straight off of Notepad:
The apostrophe's email, blah&blah@gmail.com, (which does not actually exist), was listed as #3 and put on sale for $400 at 50% off!
So next time you're working on that amazing poem, or a massive debate argument, or just a general TL;DR post, prevent the fatal "accidentally hitting back" scenario! Besides, you may do yourself a favor by saving your own work.
Sounds interesting I wonder why I didnât think of it. This text if from Microsoft word and it would be nice if it worked. Thought maybe in new AG 3 you will just be able to paste anything.
Lets see if that worked don't hate me if it didn't.
