Could you imagine? Being stuck underground for 2 MONTHS???? Not to mention you only eat 2 teaspoons of tuna a day, that's crazy. I would go crazy.

What do you think?

I would be freaked out the 3 first day...but, just relax or die.
Two choices.

And they were very lucky, I'm happy for them and their families.

Actually that diet was only for the first portion of their stay, before they were discovered still alive. After the drills broke through and everyone knew they were alive they were sent food and medicines. Either way, since 05 AUG is a very long time to be stuck over 2,000 feet down in a hole. I think that they did a great job of staying organized and keeping calm in a very tough situation.

Agreed. This has been a major world event and will probably remain fresh in the minds of many people for months to come.

As aforementioned, they showed a lot of bravery and kept very rational and calm in a difficult scenario. I certainly would not be able to be trapped that far underground for two months, I think the situation would cause more mental trauma, despite physical neglect, you'd be constantly asking yourself whether you'd get out alive etc.

A very good moment for both them and their families. One thing, because I haven't been well informed on this story, is after drilling the whole how long did it take for the rescue operation to begin and were there any delays?

its crazy how they all lived. theres also something strange that goes like this. they were rescued on 10/13/10. if u add those up you get 33. and there were 33 miners. all rescued and living on 10/13/10. crazy stuff.
