No, I don't do magic. I can't even do the old pull your thumb off trick...I fail D:

I use the fire and plant ones (although most of my fire ones are goblins (or whatever they are called))

I believe this is an old fantasy collectible card game Efan. Very popular.

Rather reliable Wikipedia article on Magic: The Gathering

I don't want to insult it but it seems like a time waster.

Never played it. Though I have played Yu-gi-oh. And I used to have some Duelmaster cards but I lost them.

according to the official that gave me the cards, yu-gi-oh and pokemon cards are copies of magic cards (apparently they're older (also, look at the original yu-gi-oh cards if you don't believe me))

I used to play Magic, it was extremely popular when I was in school. I actually still have one of my old decks, but I haven't played in years, and the newer cards are so BS that old school guys like myself can't even keep up with all the changes.

I agree with this
It is the same with yu gi oh cards (Exodia-the six cards that give auto win...later...Egyptian god cards...cards that defeat exodia...wtf!)
and pokemon cards
(legendery pokemon keep getting stronger and stronger)
...yeah...

Magic: The Gathering pre-dates and influences most modern day card games. Excellent card game but I always preferred Yu-Gi-Oh for the simplicity. My dad has box upon box, absolutely thousands, of cards, it's been ages since I had a proper game.

Do not buy the video game counterpart (Magic the Gathering: something of Planeswalker). Disastrous.

There was a great game released for Dos, but its ancient and most players probably have never seen the cards or don't remember them.

Yeah, it wasn't all that good. Fortunately it's freeware now XD
