We all know that globally, there are problems with resources, food, shelters, and so forth. Animals and plants are already being genetically engineered to produce maximum amount of food supply in the shortest time. Eventually, something will happen that we would have overlooked. Post your ideas about what the world is coming too.

.Can you please tell me how 75ish% of the earth will vanish over night? No, actually water will NEVER finish

75% or the Earth's surface not the Earth itself. That would be crazy.

The day will come when the Earth will be incinerated though. Watch your backs!

The future is unpredictable. Some future things are clearly in sight of the present. But the human generation will likely die out the next couple of billion years.

next couple of billion years.

My bets are on a few hundred.

Next up is some catastrophic event, then 3 billion years later the sun will fry us. Afterwards Andromeda galaxy and your milky way will collide, and everyone loves high speed object and two mega sized black holes colliding and sending gravity waves across our galaxy wreaking all sorts of bad things.

Lol. Chances are that we'll pass right through each other. More of a glancing blow. It's unlikely the black holes will collide.

I'm personally hoping for some civil war. Maybe some nuclear lolocaust to go with it. I've got my nuclear bunker. 2 minutes forewarning and I'll be safe and sound. What about you?

True that's why it's the last on the list. Yes they don't collide they merge.

I'm going with just straight out war. I putting my bet on China vs America. Which will lead to nuclear fun party which will ultimately lead to the death of the entire planet.

I actually agree. World War 3 will probably Chine vs America. It's sad how we don't take care of our environments.

Not the entire planet...there will still be microorganisms that can evolve. There are bugs who can tolerate nuclear radiation too and so on...

And the Swiss may survive...so do the people on Greenland.

ok. Don't you think we will be long gone in 5 billion year? (yea its 5 billion not 3.) We are starting a huge project to send lots of people into a new galaxy to colonize a certain planet in 100-200 years. -.-

Especially people in Switzerland. When everyone else is busy blowing each other up, the Swiss will be bunkered down in their giant system of bunkers about 10 times the size of der Fuhrerbunker.

You got any evidence cause a did some reserch and didn't find anything about calonizing a new galaxy, all I found were some sites talking about how it might happend and future projects that their thinking of.

And if Earth is going to have a nuclear war or we might get incinerated by the sun, I'll already be dead of old age :P.

nothing much is going to happen anytime soon

According to renowned astrophysicist Stephen Hawking, author of A Brief History of Time, the human species faces the ever-growing threat of extinction unless efforts are made to successfully colonise outer space within the next 200 years.

quoted the site.

ok you don't seem to understand. In 2000 years we got cars, plains, spaceships, nuclear technology, 3D tv or tv itself....and more. All this in 2000 years. okay. Now if we go a other 2000year in the future what will we find? No. How about 20,000years? Or 200,000years? or 2,000,000years? or 2,000,000,000years? Don't you think that if in 2000 years we got to what we are, we will be able to do outer space in 2,000,000,000years?

Actually we got were we are in 4000 year if you also count in pre-historic and Antiquity (you know Greeks and Romans) times.

And your link doesn't prove to me that their actually starting planes to colonize another planet, it's just Steven Hawkin saying that we need to colonize another planet to survive and we need to upgrade our rockets to so so.

okay...and is this suppose to have any point in to it?

of course they are only small ideas, but its still a start. This describes PC one of the places humans could go

Of course it might take more time....1000 years maybe? But we have time, the sun is going to grow in 5billions of years
